L-I-T-E-R-A-C-Y. Could you use that in a sentence, please? Literacy was the focus of a fundraiser put on by the Creek County Literacy Program on April 13, in Sapulpa, OK. The main event of the evening was a spelling bee, a friendly competition between teams of sponsors. The competition was friendly, however the words were not. Terpsichorean, nullifidian, and pococurante are just three examples of challenging words each team had to spell. This was Tiger’s first year to sponsor a team in this entertaining event. There is no other fundraiser like it. Best of all, the funds raised go to support literacy for all ages in the area. That spells S-U-C-C-E-S-S!
