June 30, 2017. Tiger recently attended the Celebration of Freedom presented by the Walton Family Foundation at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame in Tulsa, OK. The proceeds from the fundraising event benefitted Honoring America’s Warriors, an Oklahoma based 501C3 that provides rendering of military honors, memorials, and dedications, canine placement and training of service dogs for veterans, outdoor hunting, and fishing programs, adaptive sports programs, and a partnership with Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity to build homes for low income veterans. Guest speaker for the evening was (Ret.) USAF 1SG. Waco Blakley. Musical entertainment featured live Andrews Sisters routines in era costume performed by the Tom Nix Ensemble, 93-year-old WWII tap dancer Nick Strom, and WWII piano player Joe Wilkinson. Several WWII veterans were in attendance.
